volcano of the world (5.897 Mts), Reventador (3.487 Mts), Cayambe
(5.970 Mts), Antisana (5.758 Mts), Tungurahua (active volcano 5.019
Mts), Chimborazo (6.310 Mts), Sangay (erupting volcano, 5.229 Mts)
and a lot more, all with specialized naturalist guides and professionals.
TREKKING
High altitude walks between 3.500 and 4.500 meters over sea level,
we will travel through landscapes like sub-tropical rainforest,
lava lows, Inca ruins, camping at the edge of lagoons or cliffs.
We will go through swampy areas and cold paramos..

EXPEDITION TO THE COTOPAXI VOLCANO
- FIRST DAY
Starting the morning driving through the South Pan American Avenue,
you will pass the town of Machachi before arriving to the National
Park of Cotopaxi through a little third order way. After reaching
the 4.600 mts. Tourists will be required to carry their luggage
till the 800 mts where the José Rivas Refuge is located.
You will spend the night at this place. Lunch and Dinner at Refuge.
- SECOND DAY
You will leave the Refuge at 2:00 am and climb till the top of
the volcano during 6 o 7 hours. If the day is sunny you ill be
able to admire the beauty of the country witch is impressing.
Then, you will return to the Refuge and take a rest before returning
to Quito. Breakfast and lunch at the Refuge.
